Disney’s Toontown Online for Mac now available

Disney Online today announced the availability of Disney’s Toontown Online for Macintosh, plus the addition of new “gags” to keep players on their toon-toes. The first massively multiplayer online game designed for kids and their families, Toontown invites players to live life as a cartoon character, along with thousands of other players in a continually growing online world. Now both Power PC and Intel-based Mac players can join the more than 15 million PC-based “Toon” characters created in the game.

Merlin 2.0 ready to ship

ProjectWizards today announced that Merlin 2.0, the latest version of its project management software, has been released. New features in version 2.0 include: completely reconditioned user interface; a new Utilization view; a reporting generator; a powerful tool to control the project progress; and more. DEVONthink Professional Office public beta released

DEVONtechnologies today announced the release of DEVONthink Professional Office as a public beta. The long-awaited extension to its DEVONthink product line adds email archiving, paper capture, and Web sharing to the only document manager for the Mac that is based on artificial intelligence, notes the announcement. DEVONthink Professional Office requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later and is scheduled for final release in January 2007.

MacGPS Pro 7 adds printing, graphing of elevation data

MacGPS Pro 7.0 is the latest version of the program for communicating with Garmin and Magellan GPS receivers. It allows users to import background maps from a wide variety of sources, and shows the user’s current location and velocity, GPS Waypoints, Track logs, and Routes. This update adds new printing and graph elevation features, as well as a method to save maps as a PDF file. MacGPS Pro requires Mac OS X 10.2 or later and is priced at US$49.99.
