Mark/Space today announced it has shipped The Missing Sync for Windows Mobile 2.5 update. This release gives Mac users the opportunity to connect the very latest devices running Windows Mobile 5 (WM5) to their Macs, and to sync contacts, calendar events and tasks with a variety of desktop applications. The company says this is the first Mac OS X application to connect with WM5 devices, such as the Cingular 8125, the Motorola Q, the Palm Treo 700w, T-Mobile MDA Vario and others.

Freiheit.com today announced a free service to encrypt emails with Google Mail, Yahoo! Mail and Hotmail/MSN, currently the most widely used webmail services worldwide. Based on Web 2.0 technology (Ajax), freenigma can be integrated into any webmail program as a Firefox extension. Google Mail, Yahoo! Mail, Hotmail/MSN are the first to be supported, but plug-ins are also planned for Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes and mobile devices. LaCie today introduced the second generation of its high-end 300 Series Monitors, designed for graphics professionals on Macs or PCs who are serious about accurate color rendering. 300 Series Monitor panels are now corrected at the factory to ensure the highest grade of brightness and chromaticity uniformity across the display area. In addition, 12-bit gamma correction enables even smoother color gradients. LaCie also added a 20-inch panel, the LaCie 320 Monitor, to its lineup of 19- and 20-inch panels.
