O’Reilly today announced the release of “Practical Color Management.” With the assistance of contributing color-management consultant Rick Lucas, Eddie Tapp takes readers from the history and science to setting up a color management-friendly workflow. Nano 1.1

refNum Software have released Nano 1.1, a major update to their open
source C++ framework for developing modern high-performance Carbon
applications.

Nano 1.1 adds over a dozen new views, all of which are rendered with
CoreGraphics for resolution independence, and several of which were
previously only available to Apple’s own applications.

This release also includes over 30 improvements and bug fixes, such
as splash screen support or an Open Recent menu that supports groups
of items.

Daily source code snapshots are now available through Subversion, and
