Synium Software today announced CleanApp 2.0, the latest release of the company’s utility to remove programs reliably. Until now, CleanApp has used an identifier-key to detect associated files of an application. Without this key, no software is able to identify the associated files of a program, and therefore is not able to remove the complete set of files and folders, that have been created during installation. The most important change in version 2.0 is a new logging-service, which enables CleanApp to completely remove applications and all of it’s parts with thoroughness, never seen before, notes the company. CleanApp 2.0 is priced at US$10.
