Grantwood Technology today announced the release of Shoe Pouch, shipping November 1, 2006. The Shoe Pouch was designed to allow runners and walkers to use the Nike+iPod Sport Kit with shoes other than the Nike+ shoes. “We use the Shoe Pouch ourselves and we designed it our specifications,” notes the company. “We wanted to have a conforming design and neoprene cover for the sensor, so it will not become unattached or slip out. The Shoe Pouch attaches through the laces to secure it to the shoe. Other things people have used in the Shoe Pouch, other than the sensor, are quarters, small keys and the wireless receiver (to store it after a workout). The Shoe Pouch is priced at US$5.99.
