Gene Munster, an analyst with Piper Jaffray, has issued a report to investors on his thoughts on Apple’s future product offerings, reports Forbes. “In the ‘almost certain’ category is Apple’s anticipated Intel-based ‘Mac Pro,’ which Munster said should replace the high-end Power Mac G5 and will likely be unveiled at the Worldwide Developers Conference August 7. Almost as certain is the launch of Apple’s new operating system (Mac) OS X 10.5 ‘Leopard’ in late 2006 or early 2007, which will also enable Apple computers to install Microsoft Windows XP and other Windows software on Mac computers using Apple software called Boot Camp. Rumors that Apple is also planning an iTunes movie store with feature-length films and a new iPhone are also likely coming down the pike,” notes the report.
