Alco Blom today announced that SMS Mac 1.7 now supports sender ID for 75% of all US mobile networks and delivery reports for all US mobile networks. He also notes that, unfortunately, for the Verizon Wireless and Nextel mobile networks, the sender ID is still not configurable. With SMS Mac you can send a text message (SMS) to any mobile in the world. Simultaneously available is Send SMS 1.7, the award-winning Dashboard widget. All programs are Universal Binaries, meaning they run native both on Intel Macs and PowerPC Macs. Use of the SMS Mac software is priced at US$10 per year and each SMS costs 10 cents. The first purchase costs $15 and includes 50 SMSs.
