Toon Boom Animation today announced the release of Toon Boom Storyboard, a storyboarding system for visual storytelling, suited to traditional and paperless methods. Storyboard helps users take an idea and translate it into a visual story that will become a complete animation. Developed in conjunction with expert storyboard artists, Toon Boom Storyboard speeds up production planning and enables studios to reach new heights with increased production integration. Toon Boom Storyboard is now available as an Early Access Program to all animation studios using Toon Boom Harmony and Opus. The commercial release is scheduled for August 1, 2006, and will be launched at SIGGRAPH 2006.
