Ambrosia Software today announced the release of WireTap Pro 1.2.0, the latest update to its utility that allows users to record any audio on their Mac. The utility can record audio from any running applications, as well as from any microphone, line-in, headset, and even a radioSHARK, which can then save digital recordings in MP3, AAC, QuickTime, and AIFF file formats, saving them to a hard drive for later processing/listening. It can also save recordings directly into iTunes, or onto an iPod or other iTunes-compatible MP3 player. This minor bug-fix update of the audio capture utility adds compatibility with Intel processor Macs, among other bug fixes. WireTap Pro costs US$19, and a free trial version is available.
