Like Thought has announced the release of Lexicon 1.0.1, a new language learning application. Lexicon is available as a free download, but a US$25 license is required to create documents with more than 30 words. Lexicon allows users to easily learn words in any foreign language. Adding new words is simple with LanguageSync — which helps automate entering words. In addition to text, words can include audio (which can be recorded within Lexicon) and images (which can be drawn within Lexicon as scribbles). Words can be organized into groups (including smart groups) and tagged to keep track of their grammatical role or any other information. Lexicon 1.0.1 is available as a Universal Binary and requires Mac OS 10.4.6 or later.
