New HOBO Water Temp Pro v2 data logger features expanded memory,
compatibility with waterproof data shuttle

BOURNE, MA, April 26, 2006 – Onset Computer Corporation, a leading supplier
of battery-powered data loggers for underwater monitoring applications,
today introduced the HOBO Water Temp Pro v2, a new, Mac-compatible data
logger for tracking water temperatures in a broad range of applications,
from coral reef studies to stream habitat research.

The new logger features a highly-durable, polypropylene housing that is
able to withstand years of use in fresh or salt water up to 50=B0C, and can
measure and record water temperatures for more than one year before
reaching memory capacity. Other features include:

* Compatibility with Onset’s new HOBO Waterproof Shuttle for safe,
convenient data transport

* Fast, reliable data offload via a high-speed optic-USB interface

* Depth rating of up 400 feet

=46or plotting and analyzing water temperature data, Onset offers HOBOware
software, a highly intuitive graphing and analysis software package for Mac
computers. HOBOware provides a user-friendly graphical user interface and
enables users to quickly and easily plot, analyze and print data files, as
well as export data to spreadsheet programs.

The HOBO Water Temp Pro v2 is currently available from Onset and is priced
at $110. The optic-USB base station, HOBO Waterproof Shuttle, and Mac-based
HOBOware software are all priced separately.
