Worldlabel.com, a manufacturer of laser and inkjet computer printer labels in over 50 sizes, has developed and published SVG Document Templates 1.0 free label templates. SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) is a language for describing two-dimensional graphics and graphical applications in XML. SVG 1.1 is a W3C recommendation, of which Apple is a member. The documents are in Web browser form and can be viewed with Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer and other Web browsers supporting SVG. Documents can easily be opened for designing and creating labels in several graphic editors supporting SVG installed on Mac OS X. The company will release more label sizes and intends to release templates for standard print media such as business cards, flyer’s, brochures, post cards, media jewel cases, envelopes, and more.
