Black Cat Systems today announced the release of Audiocorder 4.7.1, the latest version of its software that allows a Mac to act as a sophisticated audio recorder. This version is an important update, which fixes a potential crashing problem that could occur with corrupted preference files. Audiocorder may also be programmed with a recording schedule, specifying when it should start and stop recording, much like a VCR. In addition, users can perform a timed recording, specifying how long the recording period should last. A full list of features are available from the site. Audiocorder is priced at US$19.99.
