FileMaker today announced the availability of training and certification testing for its FileMaker 8 product line. The certification testing program for professional database developers is available now in eight languages including English, French, Italian, German, Dutch, Spanish, Swedish, and Japanese, and offered through 3,000 Prometric worldwide locations. Developers who successfully pass the certification exam will be officially designated as a “FileMaker 8 Certified Developer.” The FileMaker Professional Training Foundation Series III book and CD are available for US$99 and includes 13 comprehensive training modules, demo files, exercises, tech briefs and more.
