RedleX today announced the release of Mellel 2.0, a major update to the company’s multilingual word processor for Mac OS X. Version 2.0 offers over 30 new features and improvements, introducing for the first time page layout application capabilities in a word processor, the company says. Brain Tickling Software releases SnapWeb 3.0

Brain Tickling Software today announced the release of SnapWeb 3.0, the latest version of its snapshot utility for Web content. Version 3.0 now supports Flash animations and other browser plug-ins like additional video codecs, and offers improved Safari integration, allowing users to open Safari bookmarks and Safari history within a SnapWeb browser window. PremiumSoft has released Navicat 6.0.10, the latest release of the company’s MySQL client for Mac OS X. This release supports the latest version of MySQL server, enhanced the Drag and Drop functionality and fixed a minor bug on the Filter Wizard. Navicat requires Mac OS X 10.1 or later and is priced at US$99 for the downloadable version and $75 educational pricing. A demo version is also available.

Midori releases Ladybugs game for children

Midori has announced the release of Ladybugs, a new game for Mac OS X. Specifically designed with small children in mind, Ladybugs offers three activities focusing on goal-oriented games. One activity puts a child into a race against another ladybug to find their home quicker than the other. Another activity places the child in a colorful garden maze in search of the “home” exit.
