Sp@mX offers anti-phishing capability, Mac support

Hendrickson Software Components today announced that Sp@mX, the company’s popular software for spam source tracing and reporting, has the added support for both Macintosh and Linux, as well as the capability to track down “phishers.” “Phishing is a spammer sending an email to a victim, that is disguised to look like an email from a legitimate business that is requesting credit card information, PIN numbers, or other vital personal information.” stated Jeff Hendrickson, creator of Sp@mX.

SoftRAID 3.1.2, CD-ROM version ships

SoftRAID today announced it will be shipping SoftRAID 3.1.2, the latest version of its bootable RAID software for the Mac, both in electronic form (US$129) and on a CD-ROM in a retail package ($149 + S&H). Version 3.1.2 includes the ability to display documentation through the application, a useful feature for those using the SoftRAID CD, as well as several bug fixes. A demo version is available.
