Kano Technologies has announced it has added SATA II performance to its portfolio of storage products with the X-SPAND PRO, a family of external SATA II storage systems with up to 1.6TB of high performance storage. The company says the X-SPAND PRO is ideal for use with the PowerMac G5 due to the G5’s high-bandwidth system architecture. X-SPAND PRO systems will be available in February with multiple storage capacities that range up to 1.6TB, with a starting list price of US$745.00.
