Kano Technologies has announced it has added SATA II performance to its portfolio of storage products with the X-SPAND PRO, a family of external SATA II storage systems with up to 1.6TB of high performance storage. The company says the X-SPAND PRO is ideal for use with the PowerMac G5 due to the G5’s high-bandwidth system architecture. X-SPAND PRO systems will be available in February with multiple storage capacities that range up to 1.6TB, with a starting list price of US$745.00.

The Griffin Xpress Stand “increases effective range and signal efficiency for AirTunes by raising the base station up in the room. It also makes it easier to check the network status light at a glance.” The unit also includes built-in cable management, and a weighted, chrome metal base.
