Steve Jobs’ Expo Keynote now available in QuickTime

Even though Apple announced in a press release yesterday that the QuickTime broadcast of Steve Jobs’ keynote address would be shown at approximately 6:00 p.m. PT today, the company has now made it available for viewing. Apple says “Watch Apple CEO Steve Jobs deliver the Macworld Expo keynote address from Moscone Center in San Francisco. See the video-on-demand webcast right here exclusively in QuickTime and MPEG-4.”

Elgato, ATI introduce EyeTV Wonder

Elgato and ATI Technologies today unveiled the jointly developed EyeTV Wonder USB 2.0 analog TV tuner for the Mac. EyeTV Wonder combines ATI TV tuner technology with the EyeTV software to “deliver an unparalleled TV experience.” EyeTV software features include on-demand recording as well as remote programming via the included electronic program guide, TitanTV. EyeTV Wonder will begin shipping at the end of January with a suggested retail price of US$149.

UPnP AV media streaming software for Mac announced

Elgato Systems today announced EyeConnect, which they say is the Mac market’s first commercially available media streaming software based on Universal Plug and Play Audio/Video standard (UPnP AV). EyeConnect enables digital music, video, or photo content, including EyeTV recordings, iPhotos, iTunes and movies stored on a Mac, to be played on a broad variety of UPnP AV certified devices.
