Griffin Technology today announced TuneJuice, a new battery backup for iPod and iPod mini. Using a single 9-volt battery, TuneJuice provides up to 8 hours of additional power to any dockable iPod. “TuneJuice is the perfect carry-on for airplanes and road trips,” said one Griffin employee whose battery ran out during the Macworld show. “Luckily I had TuneJuice.” The price for Griffin TuneJuice has been set at US$19.99, and it is scheduled to begin shipping in the first quarter of 2005.
