Tunewear announces Prie Podwallet

Tunewear today announced the Prie Podwallet, a compact wallet for Apple’s iPod and iPod mini. The wallet features elastic rubber on the sides keep the iPod from moving, a removable black leather soft face cover for screen protection, access holes for the 30-pin connector and headphone jack, a zippered mesh net bag, and space for credit cards, business cards, currency, and a belt loop. The Prie Podwallet is priced at US$59.95 and is expected to be available the end of this month.

Toon Boom Studio Express 2.5 released

Toon Boom Animation today announced the release of Toon Boom Studio Express 2.5, a new version of its consumer animation tool for Mac OS X. Version 2.5 includes a number of new features and bug fixes, including the ability to export video in QuickTime format, insertion of ready-to-use templates in the library, Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther) compatibility, and better manipulation of drawings and keyframes in the Timeline. Organizers of Photoshop World Conference & Expo said today that registration for its March 8-10 convention in Las Vegas is at record levels with just four days to go until the early bird registration deadline expires. Photoshop World’s early bird registration deadline offering US$100 off the cost of admission expires on Friday, Feb. 11.
