Apple will open a new retail store in Jacksonville, Florida, on Friday, March 18. As previously reported, the Apple Store will be located at the new St. John’s Town Center, which features “580,000 square feet of retail space for shops, restaurants and banks; 300,000 square feet of Class A office space; a 150 room hotel; and 450 multi-family housing units.”

MaxUpgrades has released two new products–the MaxSleeve sleeves for Apple PowerBooks and iBooks, and the iProtect cleaning cloth/LCD protector. Designed to be slipped into a notebook bag or briefcase, the MaxSleeve is an impact resistant sleeve that’s made of Visco-Elastic Memory Foam and “envelopes the whole notebook.” The iProtect cleaning cloth is made with ultrafine microfibers for removing dust particles, grease and fingerprints that reside on an LCD surface.
