Apple files Performance Bonus Plan details

Apple has filed it’s Performance Bonus Plan details (Form 8-K). “On April 21, 2005, the shareholders of Apple Computer, Inc. approved the Apple Computer, Inc. Performance Bonus Plan (the “Bonus Plan”). The Bonus Plan is intended to permit the payment of bonuses that qualify as “performance-based compensation” within the meaning of Section 162(m) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended.” Further details are in the report.

GarageBand 2.0.1 update released

Apple has released GarageBand 2.0.1, an update to the company’s popular music creation software. Apple said the update addresses issues with duplicating tracks, playhead snapping to grid, joining software instrument regions on adjacent tracks, making precise adjustments to volume and pan settings, and converting Software Instrument Apple Loops based on drum sounds into Real Instrument Apple Loops.

The new version brings Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger support, improved accuracy, better auto-training, and an improved Apple Mail plug-in. SpamSieve sells for US$25.
