Apple today released a SuperDrive firmware update for certain Power Mac G5 and eMac models. The release notes say that the software “delivers updated SuperDrive firmware to improve reliability when accessing DVD and CD media” and is only recommended for “Power Mac G5 (June 2004), Power Mac G5 (Late 2004), and eMac (USB 2.0).”
