Ambrosia releases WireTap Pro 1.1.0

Ambrosia Software today announced the release of WireTap Pro 1.1.0, a major revision to the company’s utility that allows users to record any audio on their Mac. New features in version 1.1.0 include: Tiger compatibility, a “dual recording” mode allowing users to record both Microphone and Mac audio simultaneously, a built-in equalizer with useful presets for optimal recordings, a new TiVo-like “one-off timed recording” feature that allows users to record with a time delay, support for Automator actions under Tiger, and more.

RipDigital selling iPods loaded with users’ CD collections

RipDigital, a CD-to-MP3 conversion service, today announced that it is selling a variety of iPods pre-loaded with customers’ CD collections. The company is also offering “RipTide ’05,” which bundles CD conversion, an iPod and the JBL On Stage portable speaker (batteries included) for a turnkey answer to beach entertainment. The pricing for the CD conversion service runs about US$1 per CD.
