Canon announces two new scanners

Canon today announced the release of the new Canon CanoScan LiDE 25 and CanoScan LiDE 60 Color Image Scanners, both of which offer improved performance and ease-of-use in sleek, stylish designs, all at entry-level price points. The new Canon CanoScan LiDE 25, which sells for US$49.99, uses one cable to provide both power and a USB connection, and the Canon CanoScan LiDE 60, which sells for $79.99, uses a USB 2.0 High-Speed interface for fast image transfers. Both scanners are compatible with Mac OS X 10.2 or later and will be available in June.
