Tigsoft Releases ConvertIt 2.6.3

Tigsoft today announced the availability of ConvertIt Pro 2.6.3, a unit conversion program containing over 2,500 unit conversions including currency. It features a scientific calculator, pi display, scratch pad for saving and quickly accessing frequently used conversions and online definitions. In addition it has up to 10,000 significant digits of accuracy for mathematical professionals. ConvertIt Pro is priced at US$17, and volume licensing discounts are available.

OmniOutliner, OmniOutliner Pro 3.0.3 released

The Omni Group today released an update to their outlining and organizational tool, OmniOutliner. OmniOutliner 3.0.3 and OmniOutliner Professional 3.0.3 include newly added Automator support, and a number of other fixes and improvements, including improvements to recorded audio, HTML export, scrolling, and printing support under Mac OS X 10.2, as well as speed enhancements when editing large outlines.

San Francisco Chronicle expands podcast offerings

The San Francisco Chronicle today announced it has expanded its offerings of online content by providing exclusive podcasts on its Web site. The newspaper, which is the first major US newspaper to embrace the new medium, has provided podcasts on Business stories since February, but is now broadening its podcast selection to include content from other sections as well, such as Datebook, Food and Opinion.
