Kiwali announces cases for iPod mini, shuffle

Kiwali today announced the availability of its Mineon corduroy case for the iPod mini. Elgato releases EyeTV 1.8.3, EyeTV EZ

Elgato Systems has announced the release of EyeTV 1.8.3, a free software update that adds support for third party digital video recorders allowing users to use their existing TV tuner hardware with EyeTV software. Other new features include a new “Burn with Toast” command — using Toast 7 Titanium’s new features, users can burn EyeTV recordings directly; and new display options, which include a new “Progressive Scan” feature. Also announced was EyeTV EZ, the company’s new product that enables high-quality television viewing on the Mac.

iTunes 5.0.1 available for download

Apple today released iTunes 5.0.1 via Mac OS X’s Software Update utility, the latest version of its popular digital music jukebox and online music store. Apple says this release “features a new even more powerful instant search, including the new Search Bar which helps you find exactly what you are looking for in iTunes or from among 2 million songs on the Music Store, folders for organizing playlists, and new Parental Controls for music, music sharing and podcasts. iTunes 5.0.1 features several stability improvements over iTunes 5.”
