Belkin announces TuneCast Auto for iPod

Belkin today announced Tunecast Auto, which allows users to listen to the music from an iPod through a car’s FM radio. In addition, the product powers and charges the iPod through a car’s cigarette lighter. The TuneCast Auto features two programmable memory slots; a blue, backlit LCD display; and a VELCRO tie to reduces cable clutter in a car. TuneCast is expected to ship in late November for US$59.99.

Easy Barcode Technologies today announced the release of Easy Barcode Creator 1.9r, the latest version of the company’s software for creating barcodes easily. “Just choose the barcode you want, type the value, and transfer it to Illustrator, Photoshop, or other applications in vector EPS format.” This release has enhanced support for transferring barcodes to Adobe Creative Suite 2.0 applications, support for 2 character additions to EAN-13 barcodes, and initial support for barcodes representing 13-digit ISBN barcodes.

Belkin announces TuneFM for iPod

Belkin today announced the release of TuneFM, an FM transmitter that sit on top of an iPod that allows users to listen to music, audio books, and podcasts through any FM stereo. “Offered in a new, sleek design, the TuneFM plugs into the remote/headphone jack on your iPod. Just tune your stereo to any clear FM frequency, and you can enjoy your iPod music anywhere with full sound and fewer wires,” notes Belkin. It also features its own LED display that shows the FM frequency and memory presets.
