Micromat today announced the release of TechTool Pro 4.1.1, the latest version of the company’s hardware and software diagnostic tool, as noted by MacUpdate. Changes in version 4.1.1 include: faster Volume Structure testing and repair; faster Directory Maintenance rebuilds; updated eDrive creation and removal routines; support for PowerPC G5 970MP testing and detection in Processor test; compatibility for new Macintosh models up to Fall 2005; and much more. TechTool Pro 4.1.1 requires Mac OS X 10.3 or later and is priced at US$97.97.
