Seiko Instruments USA today announced the release of a new version of its Smart Label Printer (SLP) application, driver and Software Development Kit (SDK) for Macintosh users. Supporting the new Apple Intel processor platform for the first time, the Smart Label Mac 1.1 software adds usability and reliability enhancements and improved bar code printing functionality. Customers can download the new and improved software at no charge from the company web site. The Smart Label Mac v1.1 software will start shipping with Seiko Smart Label Printers in mid-October.
