Realmac Software today announced the public beta release of AudioExpress 1.0, a utility that enables users to record sound from their Mac’s built-in microphone or from an external source, such as an Apple iSight. AudioExpress works seamlessly with iTunes and iPod and offers extensive AppleScript support. Other features include: record and playback audio, sync with iTunes, timed recordings, Live Search, notes, and categories. AudioExpress is available for US$24.95 (users of AudioX can upgrade to AudioExpress for $12.95). A free trial version is also available.
