Aspyr today announced that it is now shipping Star Wars Battlefront for Macintosh, an open-ended single-player and multiplayer action game. “Battlefront, which allows players to re-live all of the epic battles from the classic and prequel Star Wars film trilogies, is licensed from LucasArts and developed for the Mac by Beenox Studios.” Pricing is set at US$49.99. If Mac users want to play against a PC over the Internet, they will need to run the game and type the IP address in directly, without using GameRanger.
