Edirol Corporation today announced the release of several new products. The company has updated it’s USB MIDI Interface line with three new designs — the UM-1EX (US$49), the UM-2EX ($49) and the UM-3EX ($89). Also introduced was the MA-1EX ($80) USB powered speaker system for mobile computer users. The new speakers feature a bass enhancer for a fuller sound, a 1/8″ headphone jack and S/P DIF output. Finally, Edirol announced a new version of it’s UA-1 series USB Audio Interface ($99). The new UA-1EX replaces the EDIROL UA-1X and adds support for ASIO drivers and 24 bit / 96 kHz audio. All of these products will be available in the fourth quarter of this year.
