SolidWorks Corporation today announced it has extended its eDrawings software — which allows users to review and comment on 3D models via email — to include support for Mac OS X 10.4. “eDrawings for Mac solidifies eDrawings as the global standard for design communication for everyone in product development, including product engineers, graphics artists, marketing professionals, and sales managers,” notes the release. The eDrawings for Mac OS X Viewer is free. A license of eDrawings Professional for Mac OS X can be purchased for US$995.
