In addition to new iMacs today, Apple also quietly rolled out new eMac models. The all-in-one desktop now comes in two models, both with 1.42GHz PowerPC G4 processors. The low-end model, priced at US$799, offers 256MB of RAM, an 80GB hard drive, and a Combo drive. The high-end model, priced at $999, comes with 512MB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, and an 8x double-layer SuperDrive. They both feature a 17-inch CRT display, an ATI Radeon 9600 card with 64MB of video memory, and Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger.
