IDG World Expo has postponed its recently announced “Macworld On Tour” conference, which was scheduled to take place March 9-10, 2005 at the Radisson WorldGate Resort in Kissimmee, Florida. “Macworld On Tour in Kissimmee, Florida has been postponed to a later date and location that have yet to be determined,” an IDG representative told MacMinute. “Since this is a new show we are looking for the right balance of content and relevance for our audience. Based on the response to the current content, we thought it best to postpone and review our plan. We will notify the community as soon as the new Macworld On Tour is ready.” The two-day event was set to include a “highly-focused, contemporary conference program,” and was to have an “exclusive selection” of Mac vendors. Conference tracks were to include topics such as Mac OS X Tiger, digital photography, iLife, AppleScript and Automator in both advanced and basic sessions.
