Apple releases new Mac OS X security update

Apple late Tuesday released Security Update 2005-001, which includes a number of security enhancements and updated components for Mac OS X. It is available for 10.3.7 Client, 10.3.7 Server, 10.2.8 Client, and 10.2.8 Server. The update for 10.3.7 Client includes updated versions of ColorSync, libxml2, Mail, PHP, and Safari. The update for 10.3.7 Server includes the above plus a new version of SquirrelMail. The 10.2.8 Client and 10.2.8 Server versions only include updated ColorSync, PHP, and Safari components.
