GuitarPlug And MicPlug USB Audio Interfaces Available

Hendersonville, TN – January 21, 2005 – MacMice, a divison of DVForge,
Inc. announces that it will begin shipping its new GuitarPlug and
MicPlug plug-in form factor USB audio interfaces on February 10th,
2005.

“We believe that users of Apple’s GarageBand or Logic software demanded
an entirely new approach for connecting instruments and microphones to
the computer, something much smaller and simpler than anything else
that’s available,” said C.J. Sorg, Manager, Music Products for DVForge,
Inc. “Our patent-pending solution is a small, but high quality digital
interface. The GuitarPlug and the MicPlug are our first two products,
and they connect an electric guitar or dynamic microphone,
respectively, to any modern computer using a simple USB cable.”

GuitarPlug and MicPlug are cylinder shaped, 2.3″ by .7″ in size, are
USB bus powered, have an on-off switch, and have a blue LED power
indicator. Each converts mono analog audio to 16-bit, 48KHz better then
CD-quality digital USB audio, and is a class compliant, plug and play
device.

The GuitarPlug has a 1/4-inch guitar plug for use with any electric
guitar or bass, and the MicPlug has an XLR plug for use with any
dynamic handheld microphone. Both products will begin shipping on
February 10th at a MSRP of $49.99.
