WorldSync debuts SyncDeK 5.0 at MWSF

WorldSync today will publicly demonstrate for the first time SyncDeK 5.0, bi-directional asynchronous data replication technology for FileMaker databases. SyncDeK 5.0 automatically tracks changes and synchronizes specified fields between distributed databases based on configurable rules, using commonly available Internet protocols. Missing Sync for Danger hiptop coming in Feb.

Mark/Space has announced Missing Sync for hiptop, new software that enables users to connect and synchronize information between a Danger hiptop (e.g. T-Mobile SideKick, SunCom hiptop, Fido hiptop) and Mac OS X. According to the developer, Missing Sync for hiptop uses Apple’s iSync and synchronizes iCal calendar events, to do items, and the Mac OS X Address Book contact information with the hiptop online Desktop Interface which is wirelessly transferred to the hiptop device.

Call of Duty coming to the Mac

Aspyr announced today that it will be publishing a Mac version of Activision’s Call of Duty, the popular World War II game. Aspyr said that development is being handled internally and it is currently at “first playable.” Call of Duty is scheduled to be available in early April. Pricing was not available, as the company has yet to update its Web site.

MacSpeech announces Adobe Creative Suite ScriptPaks

MacSpeech today announced that it is developing a series of ScriptPaks for the Adobe Creative Suite. The new ScriptPaks add hundreds of voice commands for controlling virtually every aspect of Adobe Acrobat Professional, GoLive, Illustrator, InDesign, and PhotoShop. The new ScriptPaks will be demonstrated at Macworld Expo this week and will be released as soon as testing is complete, the company notes. Pricing has yet to be announced, but the ScriptPaks will be sold both separately and as a bundle.
