MacLinkPlus Deluxe 15 offers iPod integration, more

Data Viz has released MacLinkPlus 15, the latest version of the company’s utility for converting files between Mac and PC formats and between different application formats. New features of version 15 include new translators for Word and Excel 2004, and WordPerfect 12; PDF File conversion; enhanced graphics translators; iPod integration — convert word processing and PDF files to text and send them to an iPod; and new decompression for StuffIt X.

SimCity 4 Rush Hour to hit stores Oct. 1

Aspyr said today that the Mac version of SimCity 4 Rush Hour has hit Gold Master status and will begin shipping Sept. 27, to be in stores nationwide by Oct. 1. In SimCity 4 Rush Hour, players take control of their city’s transportation with a wide variety of new options. They can create the elevated train networks of Chicago, the wide-avenues of New York, or the one-way streets of San Francisco.
