Aspyr announced today that the Mac version of SimCity 4 Rush Hour is now shipping and will be available in stores nationwide by October 1. The latest expansion pack for SimCity 4 allows players to take control of their city’s transportation with a wide variety of new options. They can create the elevated train networks of Chicago, the wide-avenues of New York, or the one-way streets of San Francisco.

Fonts.com gets 30 exclusive Monotype fonts

Thirty exclusive products from Agfa Monotype Corp. are now available from Fonts.com. Released through the company’s Monotype foundry, the new fonts make up the Smart Sans (US$126), Neo Sans ($450) and Neo Tech ($450) families. Individual fonts sell for $42. “Monotype fonts reflect a variety of styles, periods and applications,” said Allan Haley, director of words and letters at Agfa Monotype. “This particular grouping of releases, however, looks to the future. Epson introduces EasyPrint utility

Epson has announced EasyPrint, a new utiltiy that embeds the most important Epson print settings into an application’s Print screen, eliminating the need for users to select print settings from the Epson printer driver. Adobe is one of the first software companies to implement Epson’s EasyPrint technology with the introduction of Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0, the next major upgrade to the consumer photo editing software.
