Griffin begins shipping radioSHARK AM-FM radio

Griffin Technology today announced it has begun shipping the radioSHARK, its desktop AM-FM radio with time-shift and Internet recording capabilities. The radioSHARK allows users to listen to and record their favorite AM or FM radio broadcasts. It also allows the recording of scheduled radio events or as a way of “pausing” live radio, giving users the ability to return where they left off moments, or even hours later. The radioSHARK sells for US$69.99 and is available from Griffin’s online store or from the Apple Store.

Apple increases .Mac storage

Apple on Wednesday quietly increased the amount of online storage available to .Mac members. “The combined storage for your .Mac Mail and iDisk has been increased to 250 MB,” reads a note on the company’s web site. “That means you now have additional room for your email messages and mail attachments, web pages, and backups. Need even more storage? You also have the option of upgrading your .Mac account to 1 GB for US$49.95 per year.” Previously, the iDisk storage limit was 100MB and the email limit was 15MB.
