MacSpeech to present at Apple Stores, MUG

MacSpeech today announced they will be conducting free presentations on speech recognition featuring iListen at Apple Stores in the Memphis, Chicago, and Indianapolis areas. They will be presenting at Apple’s Germantown, TN store at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday October 6th, at the North Michigan Avenue store in Chicago at 12:00 p.m. on October 8th, and at the Keystone store in Indianapolis at 7:00 p.m. on October 11th.

Bare Feats Webmaster barred from Apple Store

Robert Morgan, Webmaster of the Bare Feats Web site, has been banned from testing equipment at his local Apple Store in the Fashion Valley mall in San Diego, reports Wired’s Leander Kahney. Apparently Apple wasn’t very impressed when Morgan used one of the store’s display iMacs to run some 3-D games performance tests, and subsequently published results that contradicted Apple’s claims.
