Aspyr has released Battlefield 1942 Dedicated Server 1.0. This 2.3MB download allows Mac users to run a Battlefield 1942 server that is dedicated to multiplayer, so they can use a spare Mac as a base machine to play alongside other friends. It enables support for more users in multiplayer than running a server on a Mac while playing Battlefield 1942.
