Miraizon announces Cinematize 2

Miraizon today announced the availability of Cinematize 2, a software package that extracts audio and video clips from a DVD movie and saves them in a format compatible with standard multimedia editing software such as QuickTime, iMovie, and Final Cut. Server Monitor Module for eyeSignal released

Lamp Express has released another free software module for its eyeSignal personal notification device. The Server Monitor Module monitors any Web device with a static IP address or URL. It pings all devices in the monitor list and turns on the red LED if a server is not answering or the blue LED in case the response time is longer than 500 ms. The white LED flashes briefly whenever the modules starts to ping the devices.

Apple to open first Delaware store this week

Apple will open its first retail store in Delaware this Saturday, October 16 at 10:00 a.m. The new Apple Store is located at the Christiana Mall in Newark. Like all Apple Store grand openings, free T-shirts and a Digital Lifestyle package valued at US$2,350 will be given away (package now includes an iMac G5). Curiously, Apple said it will give away only 100 shirts, compared to past store openings of 1,000.
