iTunes/iPod commercial casting call

The Cinemafactory has posted a casting call on Craiglist for a new iTunes and iPod commercial. The firm said it is looking for “dancers, performers, and uniquely talented people of all ethnicities and ages who enjoy using iTunes/iPods for an upcoming non-union commercial shooting in early November in Los Angeles.” The Cinemafactory said that “unique and interesting people” should email itunes@cinemafactory.com if interested.

Apple VP: No new PowerBooks before the holidays

According to David Moody, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Mac Product Marketing, Apple fans shouldn’t expect new or revamped PowerBooks before Christmas. “This new line-up of iBooks, along with the current PowerBooks we have will make up the complete portable line-up we will be offering for the holidays,” Moody said while discussing the updated iBooks released this morning.
