Altec Lansing has introduced the inMotion iM3 Black, a limited edition version of its iM3 portable speaker system designed specifically to match Apple’s U2 iPod. Like the original white inMotion iM3, the black model features a built-in iPod docking station for charging and syncing, and four full-range micro drivers and “MaxxBass” technology that simulates a subwoofer. The system provides more than 24 hours worth of playback on four AA batteries, and comes with a black wireless remote control. The inMotion iM3 Black is priced at US$179.95 and is available now from the online Apple Store and Apple retail stores.
