Apple has released Motion 1.0.1, the first update to its high-performance motion graphic design and production application. Version 1.0.1, which is “strongly recommended” for all Motion users, addresses issues that could cause the original version to quit unexpectedly. Apple said issues have been addressed in several areas, including “Shapes, video output performance, exporting, working with PDF files, Final Cut Pro HD recognition of the Motion anti-aliasing setting, and support for third-party plug-ins.” Apple has also released the Motion Content Extras Update, which provides bug fixes and corrections to user documentation.
