Griffin Technology today announced it has begun shipping the iTrip Black FM Transmitter for the U2 Special Edition iPod. The iTrip-Black FM Transmitter is designed specifically for the new U2 iPod. Like the original (white) iTrip, the new iTrip retains its most popular features like unlimited station frequencies and battery-free design. “The new model with its jet-black exterior and red LED light match the new iPod U2 Special Edition perfectly,” notes Griffin. The iTrip-Black is priced at US$35.
