OmniPilot Software today announced that a public beta version of Lasso Professional 8 will be released later this week. Lasso Professional 8 includes: new multi-site features; on-demand tag loading; POP support; built-in SOAP client; JavaBeans support; a J2EE servlet Web server connector; and more. To sign up for the public beta, email Lassobeta@omnipilot.com. Users who purchase Lasso Professional 7 before October 31 will receive a free upgrade to Lasso Professional 8. They will also receive an 8 percent discount on the purchase of Lasso Professional 7 if it is purchased before the end of the month.
